During the fight against ISIS, vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED) are common tools of destruction that the terrorist organization uses to carry out attacks.
Explosive devices are placed inside vehicles and then detonated, usually killing the driver of the vehicle in the explosion. The vehicles are normally well armored and normal bullets won’t be able to take them down.
Drone footage captured two ISIS VBIED’s getting blown up by Iraqi forces. One of the vehicles that gets blown up is a bulldozer.
In the video, the two vehicles are taken out by Iraqi rocket fire south of Mosul on February 9.
