Police Ask For Public’s Help In Finding Stolen SUV Containing Child’s Wheelchair

In Portland, Oregon, the police have extended a plea for assistance in finding a stolen SUV that reportedly contains the wheelchair of a special needs child.

The police have released a description of the vehicle, stating that it is a white 2004 Chevrolet Suburban with pink accents.  The license plate number is 214HFQ.

According to the police, the pediatric chair contained within the vehicle is designed for a 5-year old child.  They are asking the public to contact them if anyone sees a vehicle matching this description.

The Portland Police Bureau put out the following Facebook post:

“Can you help find a stolen vehicle? 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, white with pink accents on the front. Oregon license plate 214HFQ

Inside the Suburban was a pediatric wheelchair for a 5-year-old child with special needs. The Suburban was stolen sometime overnight from a home in the Linton Neighborhood in Northwest Portland.

If you see the vehicle, immediately call 9-1-1. For other, non-emergency information, call 503-823-3333, reference Portland Police Bureau Case #17-1180.”
