During Jimmy Fallon’s Friday night episode of the “Tonight Show,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had a major surprise for a military family in the crowd, or so everyone thought.
Johnson suggested that someone in the audience during the show would be getting a huge surprise. “The Rock” then mentions that the person in the audience wasn’t aware they were going to be getting a huge surprise that day either.
As he walks through the crowd in the audience, he looks around for the person that he is seeking but can’t find them. He and Jimmy Fallon then walk behind the scenes and find Karina Kabalan, an Army veteran who also happens to be a producer at the “Tonight Show.”
She immediately asks, “What is happening right now?” as soon as Dwayne Johnson says he is looking for her.
“You guys have been living apart for the past year and a half because he is 5,000 miles away,” Johnson told Karina. “We wanted to thank you and your husband for your service and your sacrifice. And I personally heard you are the most amazing person and we wanted to bring your husband home for you for the holidays.”
“Turn around and hug your husband,” Johnson added. Karina then turns around and embraces her husband Todd Kabalan, a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
