As a part of the Trees for Troops program, FedEx and Christmas SPIRIT Foundation are teaming up to deliver 18,000 Christmas trees to members of the United States military and their families.
The 18,000 Christmas trees will be donated and delivered to roughly 65 military bases across 17 different countries to each branch of the military.
The program was launched back in 2005 and has delivered more than 176,000 trees in total since then.
In total, FedEx has driven more than 350,000 miles to deliver the Christmas trees to military service members and their families.
“We have had an amazing year with Trees for Troops! This program is a huge highlight each year with the Christmas tree growers who are able to donate Christmas trees from their farms,” Ann O’Connor, Executive Director of Christmas SPIRIT Foundation told Fox News.
