Thousands of American Soldiers bodies still lie in North Korea over 50 years since the war and have not been returned back home for proper burial. This is an issue that families still deal with to this date but our tight sanctions on North Korea leave us with little wiggle room to get these heroes home.
Due to sanctions, we can no longer pay North Korea as an offering in return for our soldiers. While it’s a tricky situation, it should continue to be talked about until every single American soldier’s body is returned home. We can only hope that the future will open up more opportunities for an agreement to be made to make sure every lost soldier is returned from war.
