The United States Navy is one of the most, if not the most, traditional and historically rich branch of the United States Military. Its storied military academy, the United States Naval Academy four-year co-educational federal service academy in Annapolis, is not only full of tradition but also academically competent. Moreover, some of the biggest names in American history have gone through its halls.
Just as competent and recognized is its famous Officer Candidate School. The United States Navy’s Officer Candidate School is one of three principal sources of new commissioned naval officers. Located at the Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island since 2007, its motto is “Navy owned, Marine Trained.” This great video shows what U.S. Navy OCS is like and what you would be doing in an effort to reach wider audiences. Oh, and by the way… it’s definitely not for the faint of heart.
