The mannequin challenge is sweeping the nation and is quickly becoming the internet’s biggest viral trend.
The U.S. Army is not one to shy from a challenge and they have already taken part in the viral sensation.
The purpose of the mannequin challenge is to pretend to be a mannequin and get into a certain pose and then hold it for as long as possible. The person taking the video of the scene has to capture everyone in their pose, so people do not move for sometimes minutes at a time holding a pose.
Hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd’s new song “Black Beatles” plays in the background while everyone holds the pose.
The challenge started to become a viral sensation in late October but has since spread all over the internet. The challenge is believed to have all started by high school students at the Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
