As expected, from the moment Donald Trump was thought to win the election Tuesday night, the meme warriors on the internet took charge and produced some fantastic Trump Victory content. Memes have been a big part of Trump’s popularity across the internet. The iconic “Pepe the Frog” image was springing up everywhere, so much so that Hillary Clinton pointed it out and called it “racist.” Her comments about the “basket of deplorables” making “racist” memes on the internet only fueled the fire and Trump fans looking to “Make America Great Again” went head on into meme making. Election night was no different.

Ever seen the movie Captain Phillips?
An MLK inspired victory meme:
There were plenty of “liberal tear” jokes to go around:
Just because Trump won didn’t mean it was time to stop making fun of Hillary:
From all you Ric Flair fans, can I hear a “WOOOOOOOOO”?!
Late Tuesday, Newsweek prematurely sent out an election issue of their magazine to stores and newstands across the country. As word came that Clinton was not going to be the one announced President-elect, Newsweek recalled the issues, much like the famous “Dewey Defeats Truman” newpapers during the 1948 election. Thus, the hilarious image below was created.
RIP Janet Reno… but this is hilarious:
Sorry Obama!
Knowing that Putin said he wants to fix relations with the U.S. now that Trump will be President this is all too funny!
Can you hear me now?
