A mall Santa Claus has been replaced after telling a child that Hillary Clinton is on the naughty list.
After the child asked the mall Santa Claus at Seminole Towne Center in Sanford, Florida what she wanted wanted for Christmas, the mall Santa Claus then said that the 10 year-old girl was on his nice list, but that Hillary Clinton was on his naughty list.
The mother of the child told Towne Center Management of the incident Tuesday night when she brought two of her children to see Santa Claus.
The mother and daughter were both supporters of Hillary Clinton in the election and complained to management, who has since removed the Santa Claus and made him take up his actions with the HR department, WKMG reported.
Management called Santa’s hiring company, The Noerr Program, Inc., which provides Santa Claus’ to malls across the country.
Since then, the mall Santa Claus has been replaced with another one.
A spokesman said that the mall Santa Claus thought his comment was a joke, but after the complaint, he was removed from the mall floor. The company also apologized to the family for the comments made.
