New York City police are now looking for two men who robbed a jewelry store on the Upper East Side Monday morning, making off with 5 watches totaling $300,000.
The two thieves, who had their faces wrapped in scarves while wearing sunglasses walked into Jaeger-LeCoultre on Madison Avenue shortly after the store opened.
One of the men pointed a gun at the three people that were inside the store and told them to get to the ground while the other man took a hammer to other display cases to take out the watches.
The thieves took five watches in total, including one off a man inside the store.
No one was injured.
Some of the heist was caught on surveillance video.
