Marksmanship skills, is there anyone better as a service than the U.S. Marine Corps to show us how it’s done? This is rather a rhetorical question because anyone who knows anything about guns, knows that the U.S. Marine Corps is legendary for their marksmanship. Living up to their famous motto, in every clime and place, U.S. Marines from Black Sea Rotational Force trained alongside partner nations in the Black Sea, Balkan, and Caucasus regions during Romanian-hosted Exercise Platinum Lynx 16 in September 2016.
The training enhances collective professional military capabilities and promotes regional stability. There, the U.S. Marines conducted multiple operations with Romanian troops among others during the exercise. As part of these operations, U.S. Marines and Romanian Soldiers shot the M40A7 Sniper Rifle, and the U.S. Marines shot the Beretta M9 handgun, at Babadag Training Area in Romania. Without a doubt, our kids can teach teach these guys how’s it’s done.
