Surveillance footage captured the moment an armed man in Chicago opened fire on a passing car in the neighborhood of Pilsen on October 15. Moments later, the shooter realized that the person he shot at was his friend.
The surveillance video taken near 19th street was then uploaded to YouTube and Reddit. The one minute video shows a man pointing at a vehicle as it passes by and then he fires at it twice.
As the person whose vehicle was shot at says something to the shooter, the shooter says, “What’s up? Huh? Who is that?” After realizing that the person he shot at was someone that he knew, the armed man says, “Aw man, my bad dawg!”
“My landlord pulled the video from his security system and we couldn’t believe it,” the Pilsen resident wrote on the Reddit thread.
