Drones are the proverbial eyes in the sky that watches everything and everyone without being noticed. The drone era is ushering in fantastic and incredible things affecting the way business is done in many areas, starting with the military. Gone are the days where human lives needed to be put in jeopardy in the pursuit of intelligence, or to deliver devastating attacks behind enemy lines. Now there are drones to do these jobs with a level of efficacy successful enough to persuade military brass to embrace it completely.
This video shows us why. This footage was taken by a Russian drone that served as spotter for the Russian artillery. Initially it surveyed the area looking for Ukrainian artillery positions, and once the attack started, it accurately adjusted the hits to achieve maximum destruction. No more need for human forward observers who would risk capture and possible casualties. The drone era has dawned.
