Technology is such a beautiful thing. While many well-intentioned people have tried to capture different things, like aspects of our military might, the results have not always been optimal. Cue in High Definition devices. It’s astonishing what these devices can do and the quality of the work they can deliver for us. Take air refueling as an example. Many have been the pictures and videos of an operation that has allowed the United States extend their world dominance and to assert air supremacy unimpeded anywhere around the globe.
No base or ally close by where our jets can get some fuel? No problem, we will do an air refueling. I’m not sure that this now pedestrian operation for our forces has been given its proper dues. What we have to remember is how difficult this is. Some of the fastest jets in the world, almost halting to a stop at thousands of feet in the middle of the air to get some gas. That’s crazy!
