The FBI has released the notes taken during the interview with Hillary Clinton held back in July about her email and private server use during her time serving as Secretary of State. The meeting came days before the State Department decided not to move forward with criminal charges after the FBI suggested not to, despite FBI Director James Comey stating evidence shows she was “extremely careless”.
The FBI uploaded to notes from the interview on their website to their “vault”. The website states:
“Hillary Rodham Clinton served as U.S. Secretary of State from January 21, 2009 to February 1, 2013. The FBI conducted an investigation into allegations that classified information was improperly stored or transmitted on a personal e-mail server she used during her tenure.”
There was no audio recording or official transcript record of the interview and Hillary Clinton was not under oath.
