Louisiana has suffered torrential downpours and has seen historic flooding numbers.
On Sunday, the federal government declared a major disaster in the state of Louisiana after at least seven people died from the massive floods.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards said that as of Sunday, more than 20,000 people were rescued by agencies and volunteers since the flooding began.
Edwards added that 10,000 people were in shelters as a result of the flood. Several rivers have overflowed and seen record breaking heights.
A crazy video shows a woman nearly drowning until a man comes to her rescue. The woman’s car is nearly completely submerged in water with her and her dog trapped inside. As the boat comes to her rescue, the car begins to sink even more. The group try to get her out and begin to break the glass. The car then starts to go fully under and one of the men jump in to open up more space for the woman to get out. He manages to pull her out and even grab the dog as well.
