Airman First Class Evan Hittle is a 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron instrument and flight control systems specialist at Joint Base Charleston. He is well respected for his excellent work ethic and positive attitude at the base. He shares his story on what it was like growing up as an orphan and how he eventually became an Airman.
Hittle grew up with parents that were heroin addicts and eventually both passed away. He ended up living on the streets and had to live on his own with his sister.
