This year, the Missouri National Guard held the Army National Guard’s Warrior Training Center Air Assault Course at Camp Crowder in Neosho, Missouri.

Missouri Guardsmen as well as soldiers and airmen from Regional National Guard and Reserve units attended the course. The course lasts ten days and provides instruction on conducting air assault operations such as the mastery of repelling techniques and sling load procedures. Before taking part in the course, the participants have to make it through Zero day, which is the day before the course begins where they have to make it through a day of taking part in rigorous fitness training.
