TV Guest Compares Dallas Shooter To Victims Who Stand Up To Playground Bullies

July 15, 2016

While discussing a Facebook video of the first black Miss Alabama who called the Dallas shooter a “martyr” and said she did not feel bad for the Dallas police officers that were killed during the Dallas shooting, psychologist “Spirit” compared the Dallas shooting to the reaction kids would have after a playground bully was punched in the face.

Spirit compared black people and black children to the bullied kids on the playground who are looking for some relief and having their bully take a hit.

“Pretend this is day care or elementary school. There is a bully that is kicking your butt every single day that you go to class. Finally, after you get your butt kicked  so many times, someone rushes in and knocks that bully down,” Spirit says.

Spirit’s reaction was a response to Florida TV personality and former Miss Alabama, Kalyn Chapman Jones who said she felt guilt but did not feel bad for the officers that were shot.

James was a part of the HLN segment called “Dr. Drew,” but did not get a chance to speak that much because she was interviewed in the prior segment.

Mediaite founder, Dan Abrams attempted to stop Spirit from “digging deeper” and making the situation worse, but Spirit insisted on making her point, saying “Hear me. Listen to what I am saying.”
