The day after two teenage ISIS terrorists slit the throat of a French priest on his knees during a Catholic Mass, ISIS released a video of the two men who committed the act of terror, pledging their allegiance to ISIS.
The two terrorists in the video, which was released by ISIS-affiliated Amaq News Agency, are Adel Kermiche and his accomplice, Abdel Malik Petitjean.
The two men can be seen swearing an oath to the terrorist group and holding up a sign with the ISIS flag on it. The minute-long video has Kermiche speaking and praying in Arabic, while Petitjean is sitting there beside him.
During the attack, Kermiche stabbed and slit the throat of 85 year-old priest, Jacques Hammel after forcing him to kneel at the altar during mass. One of the hostages was forced to film it and afterward was stabbed four times and is in the hospital with serious injuries.
The two terrorists then attempted to escape the Church by using hostages as human shields but were shot dead by police.
Previously, Kermiche had tried twice to reach Syria to join ISIS but was denied both times. He was then monitored by an electronic tag which was placed on him after spending several months in prison before being released, as a judge deemed Kermiche not an extremist. During his small window of freedom between 8am and 12:30 pm on weekdays where he was allowed to leave his house, Kermiche committed the terrorist act.
