Intense Combat Footage Shows POV Of Syrian Paramedics Hit By Explosion But Rush In Anyway

July 26, 2016

Crazy video of Syrian Paramedics responding to yet another bombing in Aleppo has gone viral. The original clip is approximately three-minutes long and was originally uploaded onto Facebook by Syria Charity on Wednesday, the video earned over 4 million views in less than one week. It has now been uploaded to Youtube showing the moment when the make-shift Ambulance was struck by a massive piece of debris from a nearby explosion. The paramedics are visibly and audibly shaken by the near death experience but don’t let it deter them from completing their duties. The rush into the war zone as debris smashes through their windshield and dust obscures their vision.

The men successfully remove three injured people, including a child, from the area as buildings continue to crash down around them. The video description claims this represents a typical day in Syria. Aleppo is just one of many cities are constantly being bombarded by missiles, airstrikes, and suicide bombers. The video was uploaded to give anyone living outside of Syria a first-person POV of what the conflict looks like from the perspective of the men and women working for not-for-profit hospitals and medical facilities in the area.

Please be advised that the content in this version of the video may be disturbing to some viewers.

Aleppo is currently held by rebel forces and the Syrian regime has ramped up airstrikes in rebel-dense areas of the city in recent weeks. Several civilians have payed the ultimate price as they’ve been caught in the crossfire. A UN envoy is preparing meetings between U.S. and Russian officials to attempt to revive peace talks. France has also called for a humanitarian truce in the city of Aleppo after four hospitals in the area were destroyed in a single day.
