Insanely High Quality Video: U.S. Marines Amphibious Combat Sustainment In Action

July 15, 2016

Amphibious warfare is a type of offensive military operation that today uses naval ships to project ground and air power onto a hostile or potentially hostile shore at a designated landing beach. Through history the operations were conducted using ships’ boats as the primary method of delivering troops to shore.

In this video, U.S. Marines with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion conduct amphibious combat sustainment training at Camp Pendleton, CA. An Assault Amphibian Battalion is responsible for forcible entry and ship-to-shore transportation of ground combat forces.
