Check out this amazing trailer of “Hacksaw Ridge,” the story about a U.S. Army medic who fought in World War II and earned the Medal of Honor despite refusing to bear arms.

The film is directed by Mel Gibson and stars many noteworthy actors such as Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington and Vince Vaughn.

The movie tells the true story of U.S. Army medic Desmond T. Doss, a Seventh-Day Adventist conscientious objector who refused to bear arms and pick up a gun during World War II. During the Battle of Okinawa, he single-handedly saved the lives of over 75 men during heavy fire and was awarded the Medal of Honor.

The film is set to be released on November 4, 2016 and already has Oscar buzzing surrounding it.
