An Iranian bodybuilder known as the “Persian Hercules” or the “Hulk of Iran” has announced that he wants to travel to Syria to destroy ISIS as a volunteer soldier.

Sajad Gharibi, a 24-year-old weightlifter who gained social media attention due to his massive physical stature, said that he wants to help defend Shia Muslim mosques from ISIS fighters.
Accoding to the Telegraph, Gharibi has had to deny rumors that he was a famous ISIS executioner known as the “Bulldozer,” who has a similar physique.
Jamie Foxx commented on Twitter regarding Gharibi’s stature. Gharibi appeared to have liked Foxx’s comment and reposted it on his Instagram which has more than 100,000 followers.
Gharibi also has many critics that say he will not be useful in the fight against ISIS saying that due to his size, he would lack maneuverability and would not be effective against bullets.
