This operation took place in the Philippine Sea on June 18. The aircraft carrier conducted its flight operations while underway in the 7th Fleet Area of Operations to provide stability and support in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
The operation shows the U.S. Navy’s continued presence for its area of responsibility.
The USS Ronald Reagan is a Nimitz-class-nuclear-powered supercarrier for the United States Navy. The USS Ronald Reagan is the first ship to be christened and named for a former president that was still alive.
