ISIS forces attempted to flee Fallujah to the south of the city, but were met by U.S.-led coalition forces who conducted airstrikes, killing more than 250 ISIS fighters and destroying more than 40 ISIS vehicles.
Later on Wednesday, a convoy formed to the east of Ramadi and more airstrikes were conducted, destroying roughly 120 ISIS vehicles.
The Iraqi government recently announced last week the full liberation of Fallujah.
