Troopathon “Care Packages for Our Heroes” is a once a year event held by Moving America Forward, which is a non-profit charity that sends the largest shipment of care packages to troops for the year. Troopathon culminates in a 6 hour long TV and webcast, which this year is set for June 23rd.

This year, the event will be broadcast at Moving America Forward’s headquarters in Sacramento, California.
The guest list includes some of the biggest names from a variety of places, including celebrities, professional athletes and other well-known and important figures.
This years co-hosts will include radio talk show host and co-founder of Move America Forward Melanie Morgan, TV Host Rita Cosby, and producer/anchor/reporter John Bachman.
In total, Troopathon has raised $4.5 million dollars thanks to their events. Last year, Troopathon raised nearly $350,000 and plans to make that number larger to support the brave troops that fight for the United States. With this powerhouse of a guest list, it looks like it can be reached.

The easiest way to donate to Troopathon is to get a care package sponsored by Troopathon. It does not involve going to the store and buying items. The care package is purchased and Troopathon does the rest.
