Sources report that the Orlando terrorist, Omar Mateen, allegedly spoke with a conspirator on the phone regarding the best tactics for continuing his deadly rampage. Catherine Herridge of Fox News is reporting that victims from the attack claim Mateen made several calls during the attack, one being to an unidentified person that gave him advice.
It has been confirmed that Mateen made up to 16 phone calls the night of the attack. He contacted local news stations and made several calls that could not be deciphered because he was speaking arabic. Footage recovered from cell phones at the site of the attack could disprove the widely accepted theory that Mateen was acting as a “lone wolf.”
