Rare Combat Footage From The War In Bosnia Recently Uncovered

The Bosnian war was an international conflict that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992-1995. The Bosnian War was an intensely brutal conflict characterized by bitter fighting, indiscriminate shelling of cities and towns, ethnic cleansing and systematic mass rape.  The war was characterized by events such as vents such as the Siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica massacre later became iconic events of the conflict.

The war in Bosnia and Herzegovina came about as a result of the breakup of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and is a particularly bloody conflict. Over 100,000 people were killed in the three years that the war raged across the country.

The video below is a compilation of events that took place from 1992-1995 in Bosnia. It features combat footage, the aftermath of bombing raids and the effect the war had on local citizens and the cities they lived in.
