While addressing the mass shooting that occurred Sunday morning at a gay nightclub in Orlando, President Obama shamelessly promoted gun control without attacking ISIS or radical Islam, nor even mentioning those terms.

President Obama and other gun control advocates are using the attacks as a platform for stricter gun control laws.
President Obama called the shooting “a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or a house of worship, or a movie theater, or a nightclub.”
“The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle,” Obama said.
Over the course of President Obama’s two terms, he has made several speeches advocating stricter gun control laws such as stricter background checks for gun purchases and gun safety technology.
“To actively do nothing is a decision as well,” Obama said without stating any changes he would want to see.
