The Office of Refugee Settlement released a report that reveals the Obama administration has allowed 4,097 illegal alien children to enter U.S. during the month of April. This latest influx of illegal children brings the total tally of illegal children entering the U.S. with the blessing of the Obama administration to 29,250 from October 2015 to March 2016.

These numbers reveal that 132 children illegally entered the U.S. everyday in the month of April alone. The average Washington, D.C. middle school holds about 550 students at time. This means that the number of illegal children entering the U.S. in April would fill seven Washington, D.C. middle schools. While these immigrants are spread out across the U.S. to avoid overcrowding of schools there’s no denying the influx has a negative impact on our public education system.
The Obama administration has made it a common practice to place the children with family members living in the U.S. regardless of whether or not the family members are legal residents. This means the children are allowed to enter the country as “refugees”, with help from the Obama administration, then reside with illegal immigrants already living in the country.
The number of illegal children allowed to enter the U.S. is on pace to exceed the 2014 numbers. In 2014 approximately 53,500 illegal children were classified as “refugees” and given access to the country. In the past two and a half years 114,702 have been given allowed entry into the U.S.
