Eric Greitens, a Republican, is a former Navy SEAL running for Governor of Missouri.
Greitens is the founder and CEO of The Mission Continues, which is a non-profit organization that helps veterans facing challenges after returning home from deployment to continue serving by finding new missions. Their organizations mission is to “redeploy veterans in their communities, so that their shared legacy will be one of service and success.”
Time Magazine listed Greitens as the twelfth most influential person in the world in 2013. In 2014, Greitens was listed by Forbes Magazine as one of the world’s 50 greatest leaders.
