This video is a humbling reminder that even the most experienced shooters need to follow routine safety procedures when exercising their Second Amendment rights. We see a licensed firearm instructor committing a cardinal sin, firing off handguns without the proper safety equipment.
The instructor can be seen timing his pupil as he runs through a training exercise. Midway through the exercise the instructor is struck in the face by a bullet fragment only inches from his eyes. He is lucky to walk away with only a minor cut to his lip. He may have forgotten to wear the proper safety equipment but thankfully takes this as a learning experience and vows to always wear safety glasses in the future.
