Around 10:00amPST / 1:00pmEST reports of an active shooter on the UCLA college campus emerged. Two victims are dead and police are on the hunt. The shooter was wearing all black and targeted Engineering Building 4.
[UPDATE 2:50pmEST]-Sources are reporting that it was a murder-suicide shooting and a gun and note were found nearby. Two people are dead. According to an LAPD statement, both people killed are male. It is unclear if those that are shot are students, employees or visitors.

[UPDATE 2:00pmEST]-Reports are confirming that the two victims that were shot are indeed dead. Pictures of people barricading themselves are flooding Twitter. The police presence is extremely large as SWAT searches for the shooter.
[UPDATE 1:55pmEST] – Reports of two stretchers going into a building. Condition of the two victims are not known. NBC initially said they were dead but conflicting reports.
[UPDATE 1:40pmEST] – NBC reports that law enforcement told them that two people have been shot. NBC says they are dead but there are conflicting reports.
The official Twitter account of the University of California Los Angeles is reporting a possible active shooter on campus and are instituting a campus wide lockdown. Gun shots were reportedly heard at Boelter Hall. People are being asked to shelter in place while local police investigate the incident.
