The year 2016 has been one of heavy fighting for Iraqi Security Forces. Clashes with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria to recoup the lost territory have make the present year a busy one.

This is extended footage released by the war media team of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces showing a combat operation in the Alsjarih area, east of Ramadi in Iraq’s Anbar Province that lead to the liberation of all axes of Ramadi and the reopening of the Ramadi-Baghdad road.
The operation was a joint Iraqi Special Force and Popular Mobilization Unit raid through ISIS held territory conducted by an Iraqi operated M1A1 Abrams tank and several Humvees.
