Nothing should stand in the way between a combat veteran and his rock & roll music. Today’s tunes do very little in getting a soldier pumped up for battle, but the hard rock songs of the 80s are sure to inspire any battalion.
Check out this vet jamming out to some of his favorite tunes in the video clip below:
According to the video’s description, the clip is a compilation of the uploader’s favorite rock songs ever.
“I decided to school my little brother and show him what real music sounds like!” the description reads. At the start of the video, the vet’s brother can be seen jamming out to some not-so-inspiring pop song before the soldier regains control of the radio.
“What is that? Is that supposed to be rock?” the vet exclaims as he puts on some real music.
The music featured in the video is a collection of some of the greatest rock hits. AC/DC’s Thunderstruck, Guns N’ Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle and Ozzy Osborne’s Crazy Train all make the list. What makes the video particularly funny is how intense the combat vet rocks out to the music while his brother seated next to him seems less than amused.
Also included in the video are songs You Give Love A Bad Name by Bon Jovi, I Was Made For Loving You by KISS, and Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones, all of which are absolute classics.
The car karaoke is certainly entertaining, and it goes to show just how timeless some of these famous rock songs truly are.
