TSA is blaming its passengers for absurdly long security checkpoint lines at airports, including the incredibly long line at Chicago Midway Airport yesterday.

TSA has admitted that the waiting times for passengers to get through security checkpoint lines is increasing . But they do not blame themselves for the long lines. TSA is directing the blame at the airline passengers that are showing up to the airport unprepared and will carry too many carry-on bags.
Now, The Port Authority of New York/New Jersey is threatening the TSA to reduce the wait times for these lines or they will hire a private firm to get the job done.
This spring, the wait times to get through the security checkpoint at JFK, Laguardia and Newark airports have risen, reaching highs of 55 minutes.
Congress is now going after the TSA after three former employees that were all from senior management, came forward during a hearing last month to report the lack of leadership and abusive tactics used on employees.
Chicago News recently reported that on Wednesday, the wait times for Midway and O’Hare airports reached maximum wait times of 90 minutes.
