The trailer on Youtube has received more downvotes than upvotes so far and people aren’t too happy the direction that Call of Duty is going in. Many gamers were pleased with the Call of Duty they used to know and love such as the Modern Warfare series.
The title of the game is called Call of Duty:Infinite Warfare. It takes place in the distant future and a great portion of the fighting is in outer space. The sci-fi aspect of the game is very unpopular amongst the masses of gamers since it has become a recent and overloaded theme in many first person shooter games.
After the release of the trailer, one of the game’s main rivals, Battlefield, has made comments upon seeing the trailer and they were not impressed with how it turned out. Roland Smedberg, the video and media editor of DICE, which are the makers of the game, quickly turned to Twitter to bash the recent trailer.
Battlefield will be having a world premiere on May 6 to introduce the future of the Battlefield franchise.
