The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is such a badass bird. Not only because it has been in service for more than 40 years now, nor because it is among the most successful modern fighters with over 100 victories and no losses in aerial combat. It’s because even with more modern fighter jets, it’s still going strong.

Just this past month, F-15 Strike Eagle fighter jets participated in air exercise INIOHOS at Andravida Air Base in Greece, although just in a temporary deployment to further coordinate interoperability between countries. In any case, it’s still the bird of choice of many international air forces.
