Police outside Washington DC are responding to multiple mass shootings. Multiple sources are reporting an active shooter situation at the Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD. Local police report that three people have been shot. The two male and one female victims are being taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have also reported receiving calls about a second shooting only eight miles from the Montgomery mall at the Aspen Hill Shopping Center.

One female victim of the shooting at Aspen Hill has been confirmed as deceased. There are no reported fatalities from the Montgomery Mall shooting. The suspects are not in custody and are still at large.
