Join training exercises are designed to familiarize members from different services and units with each other’s tactics and operating procedures. This is especially important for forces of different nations.
To work on this, U.S. Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa and Portuguese Marines, known as the Fuzileiros, executed assault training exercises near Lisbon, Portugal.
