For every strikeout ace pitcher for the San Francisco Giants Madison Bumgarner gets in the 2016 MLB season, the workwear company Carhartt will donate money to veterans causes.

Carhartt will donate $500 to the organization “Helmets to Hardhats” for every single strikeout that Madison Bumgarner throws during the season. Helmets to Hardhats is an organization that helps veterans land jobs in the trade and industry field after their service is completed.
“After serving our country, the last thing our brave soldiers should have to worry about is finding a job. Helmets to Hardhats has successfully placed over 20,000 veterans into quality careers in the past 13 years,” said Darrell Roberts, executive director of Helmets to Hardhats.
This definitely puts a lot of pressure on but will also be a great motivator for Bumgarner to pitch as well as he can every game for a great cause.
Bumgarner has averaged over 200 strikeouts per season during his career and hopefully, he will raise that number some more for this season.
Lets Go Bumgarner!
Do you think Bumgarner can raise that number even higher and raise more than $100,000? Tell us in the comments below!
