Rocket science is an incredible subject. Very difficult to master, but unbelievable to see put into action. Such is the case with these rocket engines, which are reaction engines designed to obtain the necessary thrust to send large objects into space.

A rocket engine is a type of jet engine that uses only stored rocket propellant mass for forming its high speed propulsive jet. Most rocket engines are internal combustion engines, although non-combusting forms also exist. Since they need no external material to form their jet, rocket engines can perform in a vacuum and thus can be used to propel spacecraft and ballistic missiles. This is how we get to space kids.
