Last year’s Paris attacks seem to be bringing out that combat edge that our friends in the French military seem to have lost. And this chopper is bringing them to and from the battlefield while spraying bullets at anything in their way.

The Eurocopter EC725 Caracal (also named Super Cougar), is an armed, long-range tactical transport military helicopter developed for troop transport, casualty evacuation, and combat search and rescue duties. It is a twin-engined aircraft that can carry up to 29 seated troops along with two crew, depending on configuration. Introduced in 2005, the EC725 has seen combat service worldwide, including in Afghanistan. For the looks of it, you don’t want to get in their way. Badass.
