Iran Better Put A Leash On Hezbollah Brigades For Threatening U.S. Troops In Iraq

March 22, 2016

Hezbollah Brigade fighters in Iraq are threatening to attack U.S. troops who are fighting there; this threat comes as the United States sends more troop reinforcements for the Combined Joint Task Force fight on Islamic State. Hezbollah Brigades are Iranian Quds (or Qods) Force trained fighters backed and financed by the Islamic Republic of Iran despite not being directly affiliated with the Lebanese terror organization Hezbollah.

On Sunday, the Hezbollah Brigade faction, who’s active in Iraq and Syria, issued a statement with the following:

[T]he United States increasingly intervenes in Iraq’s issues with its presence in the Iraqi joint operations command. [Islamic State], the stepdaughter of the Americans, is taking its last breaths, so the Americans dispatched their ground troops to protect the ‘clinically dead’ body of [Islamic State]. We have vanquished the American occupation with our quality and quantity in the past and we will continue attacking them, with our resources significantly increased. Iraq’s streets are still filled with the ruins of their vehicles that destroyed our explosive devices, and those injured by their soldiers are still hospitalized. The occupation’s coward soldiers should understand that however protective their vehicles are, these vehicles will become an obstacle for them and they will burn to death inside them.

Hezbollah Brigades’ statement was dispatched right after the Combined Joint Task Force U.S. military operations spokesman, Colonel Steve Warren, announced that a group of Marines will reinforce troops already in place in Iraq as the coalition fight on Islamic State continues.

Add this to the long line of negative marks against Iran who has been on a ‘campaign of complaining’ regarding sanctions not being lifted and accusing the U.S. for not living up to their end of the nuclear deal. Iran has the power to reign in Hezbollah Brigades and if it wants full economic autonomy, it better put a leash on its dog, Hezbollah Brigades, and demand it cease with the false propaganda and threats against the U.S.

Will Iran step in and control one of their lap dogs, Hezbollah Brigades?  Or is this just saber-rattling by Hezbollah Brigades? Sound off in the comments below!
