Call it cyber Wack-A-Mole, but Twitter has been on a tear taking down accounts found to be promoting or linked to ISIS.

The announcement comes via a blog posted by Twitter on Friday. In the blog the tech giant appears to answer come critics who claim that ISIS and other terror groups have far too much leeway to spew their hate on the site.
While they concede that there is no “magic algorithm” to weed out terrorists, Twitter responded by quoting the FBI director James Comey’s praise of the social network’s work on the issue and bluntly saying:
We condemn the use of Twitter to promote terrorism and the Twitter Rules make it clear that this type of behavior, or any violent threat, is not permitted on our service.
Twitter also made numerous references to the press they’ve gotten for their anti-terror work.
