The war in Afghanistan has left countless scars in too many servicemen and women. Voracious attacks on US forces have left a trail of wounded brave soldiers who has put their lives on the line their countries. Among those, there have been some exceptionally brutal battles, on which some heroes actions have earned them the highest award in our land, the Medal of Honor.

Sgt. Ty Carter is one of those exceptional patriots, to whom a rare second Medal of Honor was awarded for one deadly battle against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
