It was supposed to be a routine airstrike that wasn’t supposed to be game-changing. Until it was. This is how an Apache airstrike dramatically changed the security in an important Afghan area by hitting an unexpected target.
This news footage shows the dramatic change in security back in 2012 in part of the Nahr-e Saraj district of Afghanistan after an Apache airstrike killed a Taliban commander.
