One of the advantages of having allies and helping other nations is that you get to share in their military advancements. Nobody has the secret formula to develop the best weapons all the time every time, even if the America’s record is the most impressive.

Meet Exocet, French for “flying fish”. The Exocet is a French-built anti-ship missile with various versions that can be launched from surface vessels, submarines, helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. It’s the fastest and deadliest anti-ship missile in existence today. It sure would become handy in a dust-up with the Chinese navy, and thanks to the NATO agreements, the US would have access to it.
