In September of 2014, American veteran Jordan Matson left his family to fight ISIS with the YPG. He is one of a growing number of U.S. vets to do so.

Jordan met up with the YPG, main armed service of the Kurdish Supreme Committee in Syria because they were the ones doing the most to beat those bastards.
